These Caterpillars have been known to feed on:
- Kauri ( Agathis species, ARAUCARIACEAE ),
- Kudzu ( Pueraria species, FABACEAE ),
- Cowpeas ( Vigna unguiculata, FABACEAE ),
- Para Grass ( Brachiaria species, POACEAE ), and
- Rice ( Oryza sativa, POACEAE ).
The adult moth is brown with dark bands across each wing.
