Meritastis pyrosemana

The adult male moth of this species has wings that are grey, with dark marks on the costa of each forewing. In the female, these markings are paler but outlined in black. The hindwings are pale brown with darker veins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The pheromones of this species have been investigated.

The species has been found in :

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
