This Caterpillar with its white collar, has an ecclesiastical look. It is mainly dark red, but has a dark brown head, thorax, and terminal abdominal segment, and a white prothorax.
It feeds on:
living in a folded leaf joined with silk. It grows to a length of about 1 cm.

The adult moth is light golden brown with darker wing tips. It has a wing span of about 1.6 cms.
