Grew to 4 cms. Pupated in leaves of foodplant joined with silk.
The adult moth was dark brown, with a white spot in the middle of each fore wing, and an pale line extending along the margin. In resting position, the pale lines of each fore wing lined up to give a straight line across the wings at right angles to the body axis. It had wingspan of 4 cms.
Probably a member of CATOCALINAE.
