This Caterpillar feeds on :

  • Gymnanthera nitida ( ASCLEPIADACEAE ), as well as
  • Australian Rubber Vine ( Gymnanthera oblonga, ASCLEPIADACEAE ).

    The adult moth has forewings that are brown, each with a broad white stripe from base to termen which contains two black dots on the leading side. The hindwings are a silky white with a brown margin and costa. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

    The species is found across the northern half of Australia, including:

  • Queensland.
