The Caterpillars of this species were found boring into the stems of

  • Orchids ( ORCHIDACEAE ).

    The adult moth is dark brown with a broad white bar across each forewing. The moth has a wingspan of about 1 cm. The species has been found in Queensland and New South Wales.
