The wings of the moth are grey, with the forewings being darker and each having a number of submarginal dark sinuous parallel lines. The moths have a wingspan of about 4 cms.

The species is found over the south-east quarter of Australia, including

  • New South Wales,
  • Queensland, and
  • Victoria.
