The cocoon of this species is dark brown and is hung from a suitable stem. It is composed of leaves cut and joined with silk, and has a length of about 3.5 cms.

The adult moth has plain dark brown forewings, and plain pale yellow hindwings. Its wingspan is about 2 cms.
