These caterpillars feed on:

  • Juniper ( Juniperus species, CUPRESSACEAE ),
  • Monterey Pine ( Pinus radiata, PINACEAE ),
  • Maritime Pine ( Pinus pinaster, PINACEAE ),
  • Slash Pine ( Pinus elliottii, PINACEAE ), and
  • Needlebush ( Hakea sericea, PROTEACEAE ).

    The adult moth of this species has rusty brown forewings each with a white dot in the middle, and a thin gray diagonal stripe across the margin.

    The species has been found in :

  • Tasmania,
  • Victoria,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • New South Wales, nd
  • Queensland.
