The adult moth of this species has grey forewings, each with dark spots and loopy lines. The hindwings are grey, darkening toward the margins. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The eggs are green and spherical, and laid in clusters accompanied by anal hairs.

The species is found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
