This Caterpillar damages the flowers and fruit of:

  • Mango ( Mangifera indica, ANACARDIACEAE ),
  • Chirauli Nut ( Buchanania muelleri, ANACARDIACEAE ), and
  • Weeping Fig ( Ficus benjamini, MORACEAE ).

    The adult moth has a wingspan of about 6 cms. Its body is brown and its wings white, with a pattern of brown lines on the forewings. It occurs over the whole of south-east Asia, from India to the north-east coast of Australia.
