The adult male moth of this species is grey, with zig-zag markings and a white comma-shaped mark on each forewing. The hindwings are white with dark veins. The male moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The female moths are similar except the base colour of the forewings is brown. The females are also bigger, with a wingspan of about 4 cms.

The species is found

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
