The Caterpillars of this species have been found feeding on :

  • Wandering Jew ( Commelina cyanea, COMMELINACEAE ).

    The adult moths have dark brown wings with a diagonal line from near the wingtip to halfway along the rear edge of each forewing. They have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

    Specimens have been taken in

  • Africa,
  • Cook Islands,
  • Fiji,
  • Japan,
  • Taiwan,
    and in Australia in
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • New South Wales,
  • Queensland, and
  • Norfolk Island.
