The adult female moths of this species basically have brown forewings with a sinuous pattern of paler patches with black outlines, some with orange filling. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The males have a white background to the forewings, and have white hindwings. The head, thorax, and abdomen are brown. The wingspan is about 10 cms.

The species is found in Western Australia
