This Caterpillar is reddish brown, and has flanges along each side of its body, and a spike on its tail. It grows to a length of about 2.5 cms. It moves in a looper fashion as it only has legs at the front and the rear.

The female and male moths differ in this species. The male is green with narrow brown borders and pale brown veins to the wings.

The species is found in

  • Queensland, and
  • northern New South Wales.
