The adult moths of this species have a blotchy green wings with narrow slightly scalloped grey edges. There is a small black dot near the centre of each forewing, and the hindwings each have a cusp midway along the margin. The thorax is green but the abdomen has alternating narrow bands of black, brown, and white. The green colour of the wings fades to brown after the moth dies.

This species occurs in Queensland.
