This caterpillar is brown with pairs of triangular projections along its back.The skin is rough and irregular. The caterpillar is a looper, having only one pair of prolegs plus the anal claspers. The caterpillar is thought to have been feeding on the foliage of

  • Stringybark ( Eucalyptus tetrodonta, MYRTACEAE ), and
  • Billy Goat Plum ( Terminalia ferdinandiana, COMBRETACEAE ).

    The caterpillar pupated inside a cocoon of dead leaves joined with silk.

    The female moths are green with a broad brown border to each wing, and a yellowish collar behind the head.

    The adult male moths are green with irregular white patches and markings on the wings.

    The species is found in

  • Queensland, and
  • Northern Territory.
