The adult moth of this species is a pale patterned brown or grey, with a sometimes incomplete double wavy transverse dark line extending across the wings. The termen of each fore and hind wing has a wavy edge. The moth has a wingspan of about 4 cms.

The species is found in eastern Australia, including:

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • New South Wales,
  • South Australia,
  • Tasmania, and
  • Victoria.
