Labdia deliciosella

These caterpillars have been found boring into :

  • stems of Acacia perangusta,
  • galls of Eriosoma lanigerum on Malus pomone.

    The adult moths have yellow forewings with a large brown area at the base containing thin metallic blue streaks, and have black wingtips. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

    The species occurs in

  • the Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • New South Wales.
