These caterpillars are smooth and have a number of pale longitudinal lines. The caterpillars feed on:

  • She Oaks ( Casuarina, CASUARINACEAE ).

    The adult moths are grey, with a complex pattern of darker scalloped lines on the forewings. The hindwings are a uniform grey-brown, sometimes fading to white at the base. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

    The species occurs over most of Australia, including

  • New South Wales,
  • Queensland, and
  • Tasmania.
