Proteuxoa porphyrescens

The adult moth of this species has brown forewings each with a dark smudge near the centre. The hindwings are grey shading to black at the margins. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • South Australia.
