The adult moth of this species is dark brown, with a broad white stripe on each forewing, and a white patch at the base of each hindwing. The abdomen is yellow with narrow black bands, and has a white dorsal patch near the thorax. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

This species has been found in:

  • the north of Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
