Parerastria castaneata

The adult moth has pale brown wings. The forewings each have a ridge of raised white scales along the margin, and an extra bunch of white scales by the base. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species is found in

  • New Guinea,
    as well as in
  • New South Wales, and
  • Queensland.
